I do feel quite horrid for not posting as much as I used to. My goal is to start posting on a regular basis.
So now let me let you know why I got a tattoo. I have always been one that that used to say that I will never get a tattoo. For those that don't know, Paula has two on her upper back, one on each shoulder blade. She has been talking about getting another one since she has lost so much weight.
So about a month or more ago, Christina came over to hang out at the pool with me and Paula. Paula was telling Christina that she wanted to get another tattoo and I just chimed in saying, "I think I want to get one too."
I mentioned to my mom and brother that I was thinking of getting one and they said that the really didn't believe I would get one. I kinda wanted to prove them wrong. I started thinking about what I used to think about tattoos. I used to think that people that got tattoos were "rock and roll" or biker type people or anyone that was kinda rough around the edges.
Most people I talked to didn't see me as a tattoo kind of guy. I decided then that I would get one. It was really not fair for me to assume anything about people with tattoos back in the day. I was kinda defining them.
Sorry for the randomness, but I am exhausted. Anyway, I decided that I will not be defined by being a piano player, a young adult, married, from Kentucky, or having a tattoo. I will only be defined by WHOSE I am. I belong to Jesus and that alone defines me. I got the tattoo so that when people ask me about it, I can tell them what defines me in hopes that it will define them too.

Watching on the Tube Bionic Woman
Paula and I both love this show. It is a remake of the 70's action television show. We haven't seen it in forever since the Writers Guild Strike. How sad!!

Harry Connick Jr's newest album, "Oh, My Nola" is full of music from New Orleans or written by artists from New Orleans. Since Paula and I lived in New Orleans, it is special to us. We actually got to see the concert for this album live. It was great. You have got to check this out!
