Surviving Wayne
I find that it is a full time job surviving myself. I and my quirks and imperfections will be the fall of me. Thanks to God, my Creator, Protector, and Savior, survival is immanent.

Training Times

This is Paula and me at the end of our first year in training.

This Major Valetta Merritt with me. She is very sweet. She and her husband were on staff when we were in training.

During Spring Campaigns during our second year of Training, we went to K-T's youth councils and then to Louisville Area Command, which is where I am from. Here is me and Paula and Sanders Citadel in Louisville.

This is me during a general day at Training. I was eating something when I think Paula took it. It was at the end of our firt year.

This is me and Bethany Hawks now in Bowling Green, KY during my summer assignment.

Here is another picture from Bowling Green. We were working to clean up the yard of one of the Homeleage Ladies. Pictured here with me is Capt Phil Lance, a corps cadet (don't remember her name), the corps pianist (last name is lodge but can't remember her first name), and Bethany Hawks.

Senior Retreat
Here are some pictures from our Sr Retreat. This was during the fall of 1995. We participated in a lot of team building activities that weekend.

This is a picture of the late Josh Hardison, Amy Lawyer (unsure of her married name) and Carey (Caswell) Heid just hanging out.

Here again is the late Josh Hardison, Carey (Caswell) Heid, and Patrick longest hanging out in our cabin.

This is Patrick and one of him many funny faces. He liked to make wierd faces. I have a few more of these pictures to share later.

Here is Carey again with the grandchild of the school administrator on her lap. Next to her is Tiffany Jasgarszewski. Josh Hardison, Kosuke Kato, and Twila Neyhart is also pictured.

Here I am walking a long a balance beam on an obstacle coarse.

Sophomore Pyramid
I am very proud to be part of the class of 1996 of Portland Christian High School in Louisville, KY. There were only 16 in our graduating class. This picture is actually when we were Sophomores. There are 15 here. For one, this was her last year with us. We added two during our Junior year.

I am second from the right on the bottom. The second from the right on the top is Marie Badami. This was her last year. We gained Twila Jane Neyhart and the late Josh Hardison during our Junior year.

I will post more pictures over the next few weeks from both High School and CFOT.

I survived.

Watching on the Tube
Bionic Woman
Bionic Woman

Paula and I both love this show. It is a remake of the 70's action television show. We haven't seen it in forever since the Writers Guild Strike. How sad!!

Listening

Harry Connick, JR

Harry Connick Jr's newest album, "Oh, My Nola" is full of music from New Orleans or written by artists from New Orleans. Since Paula and I lived in New Orleans, it is special to us. We actually got to see the concert for this album live. It was great. You have got to check this out!
