Surviving Wayne
I find that it is a full time job surviving myself. I and my quirks and imperfections will be the fall of me. Thanks to God, my Creator, Protector, and Savior, survival is immanent.

Momma's Update
Well, I think my mom will be ok. Her surgery lasted only 2.5 hours. WHAT? A TRIPLE BYPASS THAT QUICK? Yep. I think the fact that she lived in Louisville was lucky. Louisville's Jewish Hospital is one of the forefront heart hospitals in the country.

I talked to my sister last night and she said mom may come home today. She has had some fluid on her lungs and her oxygen level has been a little low, but besides that, she is doing well.

I want to thank everyone that prayed for her and my family. Your support is so encouraging. I do have a few things to share about my trip to Louisville and things I found out.

I survived... and my mom has too!

Prayer Needed...
Please pray for our family. My mom is having triple bypass open heart surgery on Monday. I am traveling tomorrow to be there. I am scared.

Here is our family portrait from about 25 years ago. I love this picture.

Yes, that is me in my momma's lap.

Paula and I both love this show. It is a remake of the 70's action television show. We haven't seen it in forever since the Writers Guild Strike. How sad!!

Listening

Harry Connick, JR

Harry Connick Jr's newest album, "Oh, My Nola" is full of music from New Orleans or written by artists from New Orleans. Since Paula and I lived in New Orleans, it is special to us. We actually got to see the concert for this album live. It was great. You have got to check this out!
