Surviving Wayne
I find that it is a full time job surviving myself. I and my quirks and imperfections will be the fall of me. Thanks to God, my Creator, Protector, and Savior, survival is immanent.

Fire on Huntsville Road
Our last appointment as Salvation Army officers was in Florence, AL. It was a place of both heartache and a few bright days. Apparently, the chapel fell victim to arsonists early Saturday morning.

Here is a picture of the chapel taken in January of 2002.

Here is a picture after the fire.

It's sad. All the pictures in the building were chared by the smoke. The only surviving picture was the picture of Jesus in the hallway.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

P.S. On the top picture: that is not a paranormal orb on the left hand side, its my momma's finger (that short little man in the distance isn't a ghost either, its my dad).

Paula and I both love this show. It is a remake of the 70's action television show. We haven't seen it in forever since the Writers Guild Strike. How sad!!

Listening

Harry Connick, JR

Harry Connick Jr's newest album, "Oh, My Nola" is full of music from New Orleans or written by artists from New Orleans. Since Paula and I lived in New Orleans, it is special to us. We actually got to see the concert for this album live. It was great. You have got to check this out!
