Surviving Wayne
I find that it is a full time job surviving myself. I and my quirks and imperfections will be the fall of me. Thanks to God, my Creator, Protector, and Savior, survival is immanent.

A quick moment...
Ok so I will confess that I have gotten bad about blogging. I will no longer make promises about posting. I will just try to post when I can.

We got back from vacation on Monday. It was quite a busy vacation. We left out of Charlotte on Friday, August 24th, right after work and drove to Louisville. We were in Louisville until Thursday. We drove then to Washington D.C. and stayed there until Labor Day. We drove back to Charlotte.

I will post some of our favorite pics from vacation soon. We actually took over 600 pictures. I will not bore you with all 600, but with just a few hightlights.

Paula had not been to Louisville in over 4 years. I went back to Louisville last year for my mom's heart surgury. I took Paula on the Belle of Lousiville. We met with some friends I grew up with. We toured historical things in Louisville. Paula fell in love with the architecture.

Ok so it is like only 10:37ish and I feel like it is 1:00am.

Anyway, then in D.C. we did a lot of tourist-ish stuff. My favorite was the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the changing of the color guard what guarded the Tomb.

I will make a few posts over the next week or so about our vacation with some pics.

This upcoming weekend, Paula and I will be heading out to Hollywood to do the red carpet of the Emmy's. I will post some pics everynight starting the first night while we are there. The website I will post on is www.leistersdohollywood.blogspot.com.

Well I guess I need to go since my thoughts are kinda ramdom and ramble-ish. I think I used way too many "-ish" words in this blog.

Anyway... I will survive.

Paula and I both love this show. It is a remake of the 70's action television show. We haven't seen it in forever since the Writers Guild Strike. How sad!!

Listening

Harry Connick, JR

Harry Connick Jr's newest album, "Oh, My Nola" is full of music from New Orleans or written by artists from New Orleans. Since Paula and I lived in New Orleans, it is special to us. We actually got to see the concert for this album live. It was great. You have got to check this out!
